Stupid CS from Symantec & Crazy Norton Anti-Virus 2005
Really cannot make it, almost vomit blood while on the phone with this lady from Symantec customer services. Had a problem renewing 1 of the computer's norton anti-virus, so call them for help. Coz we had 2 computers using same Norton Anti-Virus 2005 package, 1 com able to renew to 2007 for free without any reason but the other 1 not able to renew at all. After calling them they said they are not in-charge and have to email to the symantec sales person in Australia. While waiting, my boss keep asking how ar? What's going on, what happen to my computer. If I know I dun have to ask for help liao.. Sian... After few days, they reply asked us to call them at 1800 810 101 to confirm our contact number and email address so that they are able to process. But after reading the number they had given dun you find is funny? 1800 follow by 6 numbers only, how to call? So email back twice to them ask for the correct number, no reply for few weeks. Hai... SO give up and tried calling the lady again for Symantec, she said I am able to help you to renew now. See.. dunno what the shit is going on... At 1st said they are not in-charge now able to help us process..
Ok.. so what I want now is to renew my boss computer and the same time find out what's going on with my com too. This lady keep telling me the new package 2006 norton anti-virus and ask me to upgrade with them. Also keep telling me that renew cost $80+++ and upgrade only less than $200 but three years protection, then she said but Ms we run of of that package. Hai.... I am like idiot.... So in order not to waste my time with her, I ask her whether can help me renew on the spot for me and she reply she is able to. She help me to renew asked my norton account ID number and our email address then asked me to wait. I waited about 5 mins, then she is back to my phone asking for credit-card number? What the F***... I really want to use my head bang onto the wall.. In the end, only 2 options (1) renew it for $80+++ or (2) but new package @ $200.
Moral of the story, she and me cant communicate well and should go for Communication Program... Anyone, interested to join????
